Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on several freelance web design projects that each came to me through word of mouth:
Each project was an opportunity to collaborate closely with a business owner, understand their brand, and create a digital presence that supported their goals. The nature of our relationship was largely dependent on how hands-on (or off) they wanted me down the line.
Client: Barry King, former professional tennis player and coach
Platform: Custom HTML/CSS using an HTML5 UP template
Barry King sought a professional online presence to showcase his tennis academy's offerings and philosophy. The goal was to create a site that reflected his extensive experience and attracted aspiring tennis players.
The website effectively communicates the academy's values and services, providing a platform for potential clients to learn about Barry's coaching approach and get in touch.
Client: Melissa Tafoya, Certified Pickleball Professional Coach
Platform: Wix
URL: oncourtadventures.com
Melissa needed a dynamic website to manage her pickleball coaching business, including classes, leagues, and tournaments. The site had to be user-friendly and allow for easy updates.
The website serves as a central hub for Melissa's coaching services, enabling clients to easily find information and register for events, thereby enhancing her business's online presence. We also settled on using Wix so she could be very proactive in her own updates and changes as she needed to be.
Client: Megan Hanna, Professional Hairstylist
Platform: Wix
Megan required a stylish and informative website to showcase her hair styling services and allow clients to book appointments.
The website effectively presents Megan's services and style, providing clients with an easy way to learn about offerings and book appointments, thus supporting her business growth.
